In order to be able to create an idea for my own visual layout to display my promotional materials, I decided to look around some store in Meadowhall, Sheffield. It gave me an idea of how it should look depending on the wether its showcases high street or high end, and depending on the aesthetic of the store. I didn't find any stores that really inspired me to how I wanted to present my work, so I looked on Pinterest instead and took inspiration from the record store we went in. I found that exhibiting more high-end clothes, it was very clean and minimalistic in order to showcase very minimal items but that was presented in couples like the perfect shoe with the perfect bag etc. Whereas high street stores tried to cram a lot more items say in the window displays or mannequins around the store to create a full ensemble with accessories and shoes, in order to inspire customers to buy a higher quantity in items as they are of a lower cost.
