GUCCI PRE-FALL 2017 CAMPAIGN

In Gucci's Pre-fall 2017 campaign, the designer took inspiration from 60s soul dance, where they had their models jumping and dancing around a dance floor in vintage tracksuits, glittery mid-length gowns paired with a bomber and brightly patterned suits. This campaign included mid-dance shots of the dancers, as well as individual polaroids with patterned borders and a camping video, which had an old TV feel to its low quality snippets of dancers filling the whole floor with their shuffles and jumps.

Titled "Soul Scene," the Pre-Fall 2017 campaign, photographed by Glen Luchford and art directed by Christopher Simmonds, does indeed showcase an all-black cast of models — Nicole Atieno, Elibeidy, Bakay Diaby and Keiron Berton Caynes — and more than 20 dancers.
